I feel like I am living in the Twilight Zone. The Universe seems to be challenging us, in a strange way. I would like to send my love and my heart out our fellow United States citizens and abroad, that are battling Coronavirus.
However; I made a personal decision to get out and do the things I normally do on the weekends. When I am in and out of a store I do have hand sanitizer in my car and I sanitize frequently. And when I get home, I am using soap and bleach to clean my hands and arms. I’m not being overly paranoid but I’m trying to be very cautious.
So I had a pretty good weekend. I guess you could say I got my weekend started on Friday…with a really cool place called Chico and Chang located near Moreland Ave, trendy spot in Atl. I had Wine and they customized my Curried Chicken, Veggies and Egg Noodles. It’s not on the menu…they were super accommodating. My dish was delicious. My weekend sneaker rotation was all over the place. That’s what makes Sneakers Fun.
I went to one of my favorite places, on Saturday; located in Decatur called Sun in my Belly. I’ve been there several times but it’s always a treat and the food is delicious and the service is great. It has a very eclectic feel which I completely love. It’s a place that I highly recommend. There was no wait. Typically there’s like a 45 minute wait to get in. I had the Georgia Peach Mimosa. And for my breakfast, I had the grits and cheese, scrambled eggs, and vegetarian sausage. I could not finish all of it LOL I ate the rest this morning for my breakfast.
