Wow! 2019 has come and gone. 2019 was one of the toughest, hardest years of my life. I lost my beautiful mother to cancer and it devastated me. Even now, I don’t feel the same. I miss her deeply. I miss her honest answers. I miss her asking me about my sneaker blog. I miss our Sunday-Funday shopping until we dropped. BUT I cannot change any of it ( I wish), so I have to keep going as Mom would want me to. At first I felt like I had writers block. Then I reminded myself, sneakers are your passion, keep going!!!
2019 has been good to me. I’ve written articles for WNBAKICKS and HercollectiveSole. I became a Sole Sista, and close friend to a fly chick who runs HerCollectiveSole! We are working on some dope stuff for 2020. Drew Greer has pulled me in under his wing and included me in the gaming space…2019 has been a dope ride! And my most favorite moment of 2019 was the build out of my sneaker closet! The dopest Sneaker closet on the planet!! LOL!
For 2020, I don’t have a magic formula. I know I want to do better. Write better, do way more video. Get focused on what’s important. Continue to grow and surround myself, with people in the industry that are waaaaayyyyy better than me. I’m open!!
