Another great weekend in Atlanta and I am happy I was picked to be a part of it and learn more about the brand Girls Who Dress Like Boys. Kimberlyanne, started her brand in 2018 with the thoughtfulness of creating a space for women that love to rock sneakers and are unapologetic about it.
The event was hosted at Wish Atl from 12 P.M. to 5 P. M. Saturday, March 3rd. I had the opportunity to meet Kimberlyanne – as she hand crafted bouquets of flowers as we took a look at her clothing line, Girls Who Dress Like Boys. I was gifted one of her t-shirts that says – on the front – Wish – Girls Who Dress Like Boys – on the back – a collective of women replacing heels with sneakers.

Fun event! I think there’s something to be said for being unapologetic about your lifestyle choices—not just in fashion and footwear, but in everything. It’s easy to get caught up in what other people think of your choices, but if you’re happy with them, why should you care what anyone else thinks?
So if you’re dressing like a boy because it makes you feel good about yourself and confident in your own skin, then keep on doing it! Just don’t do it because everyone else is doing it too.
Do it because YOU want to do it!
