Time off is ALWAYS a good thing. A time to create, regroup and focus on LIVING!!
This weekend was a major time of reflection for me, oh and Pick-Up’s; Rockin a new pair of 270’s AND trying a new restaurant. I haven’t been able to cop anything from Nike SNKRS in a while especially a hot release. WELL!!! *clears throat* I was able to cop the Nike 1’s-Red Sail-and YES!!! I am super proud of that. No, they didn’t sell out, but I wanted them and GOT EM!!
Nike also dropped the Women’s and Men’s Air Max 270. I love this sneaker. Like going on a cushy ride. The HUGE AIR bubble on the heel, draped in yellow-makes this sneaker definitely stand out. Check them out on feet with my crazy Stance socks.
I’ve been hearing a lot about a really cool restaurant in Atlanta called Ponko Chicken. Kind of Exclusive, intimate, they only have 2 locations. So Today I visited the one in Tucker, GA. I was skeptical, but Ponko Chicken did not disappoint. I had the BIG Salad with fried chicken, their walnut cilantro dressing is a must try, and a matcha margarita. My salad was SOOOOOOO delicious, yes, I highly recommend it. There is also a 2nd location in Mid-Town. Check out their menu in the link. https://www.ponkochicken.com/
This week will be my first week of not having a normal, working job since college. It’s going to be different. It’s my plan to blog about sneakers and food, until you tell me to shut up, travel a little and figure out KENYA aka Sneakervision.
