My weekends are banana’s, Nuts!! But fun times. If you have been rocking with me for a while, you understand that my mom has a terminal illness, no getting better. So there are times I won’t have time to blog. This week was one of those weeks. She ended up in the hospital BUT is doing so much better now. She was discharged today. Yay!! It’s the little things.
Saturday night, is usually date night for me and honey, but my Uncle was in town and he insisted on taking my Family to Paschal’s Down on Northside Drive. Link here. Paschal’s Atlanta. Paschal’s is an Atlanta Soul Food Restaurant originally started back in the late 40’s by Robert and James Paschal. Famously known for their Fried Chicken. Which is absolutely perfect. I had the Mac and Cheese, Green Beans. I thought the food was delicious. No wait for a table and the service was great. Good Service is ALWAYS a plus. So I would definitely visit Paschal’s Again.
Saturday I started out by wearing my Nike SB Low Supreme, Air Force 2. However for Dinner Saturday night, I made a quick change to my Nike Jordan 1, Gold Toe’s. My Cinderella Sneakers. Or I like to say they are Beautiful Like Solid Gold Dancer’s.
Sunday, We went to the Decatur Book Festival. I have never been to a book festival, so it was a completely different type of event. The Atmosphere was nice. But it was super hot outside. My honey purchased 3 books. He is a complete book worm, so I am happy he was able to find books that were dope to him. After the Decatur Book Festival, we went to Taco Mac In Decatur. We split the Grilled Chicken nachos. I had a Watermelon Margarita.
Such a fun FULL weekend. Also, mom got to come home. She was watching Serena WHOOP Kaia Kanepi when I went to pick her up.
Tomorrow is Labor Day. I hope you have the day off to Rest, Relax and Enjoy Yourself.
